This is fantastic and I am thrilled to have apparently had a hand in sparking (heh) it off! Especially as that conversation totally had me run away and write firebending!Ursa, just to see if I could. Good times. But this is actually, y'know, compliant with what little we have of canon Ursa, making her totally badass as well as fallable and snappish when pushed.

And seeing the gaang around her is great, as well - I especially like your take on Aang, full of lost-Appa woe.
