OH OH OH (Yes, I'm still having THOUGHTS about Doctor Who)

In "Day of the Moon", when she just starts shooting at the Silents, killing them all in a calculated and really cool practised way -- that wasn't just a gratuitous bit of violence thrown in with some extra lens flare to look good in vids and icons. That was an adult who had been kidnapped, raised and traumatised by literal monsters taking her revenge.

TL;DR Anyone who says that River is not a character with layers is wrong. Also, I need more River icons.

That's really cool - I can remember noticing at the time that she had a lot more going on with her in other scenes, but not that one. Time for a rewatch!
