FYI

The Can I Talk To You Troll has returned (again), this time with the DW username [personal profile] enidblyton.  And an icon depicting a gollywog, which is a whole different problem.  Having been banned from the Teaspoon for harassing users, he apparently came over to DW and ... harassed a mod.

Oh yeah.

He may have adjusted his MO; I got a non-creepy comment to my last SJA entry.

OMG that icon. D:

I've seen him copy comments from Enid Blyton forums before and paste them into comments as if he's trying to have a conversation. The person he did this to banned him and then out came the vitriol.
purple_smurf: Buffy and the first Slayer in the desert in 'Restless'; text reads "the desert seemed so promising" (buffy)

I have a DM here from [personal profile] aliciajohns, the "can we talk?" troll, that I haven't deleted (uh, evidence?), with an Enid Blyton icon.

And yeah, that was the second time the guy has hit me up. First was on LJ, before I knew about the trolling in general and yes, I fell for it. This is the second time, and I didn't respond to it. I don't know whether to feel special or dirty that he's found me twice.

Of course, as I said on Enidblyton.net, I'm not a troll, I just make stuff up to get people to talk with me because I'm lonely and live with my elderly parents because of my real life disability.

Paul

By the way, the gollywog icon was simply because Enid Blyton wrote a lot of stories about gollywogs. Nothing to do with your far left political views on the subject.

So following the troll to enidblyton.net, just out of curiosity, led me to this quote, and I feel like it is a pretty excellent tool for teaching the Power Of Context: wow when I was a kid, we (the Neighbourhood kids) formed our own little SS and had a great time with our meetings

Good times!

The Secret Seven is weaker than the Famous Five - or the Five Find-Outers for that matter. Peter is a sexist bully and it seemed that whenever they went anywhere in the dark it was too dangerous for any females to accompany them!
