I ship James/Alesha so hard it's a bit stupid.   

Like, it's in the background, but you get a glimpse of the look she gives him when he says he's a member of the Royal & Colonial Club, and you just know she's going to tease him about that forever.

Also, dialogue of win:

Dude: "Excuse me, sir, but the club is only open to members."
James: "I am a member."
Dude: "Then sir will be aware of our policies regarding-" *eyedarts at Alesha*
Alesha: "Blacks?"
Dude: "Girls."
Alesha: "I think you mean women."

Oh yeah, and there was a plot, too.  Which was nice.  I blame Law & Order: UK for my current desire to read crime novels and true crime.  And I'm finally able to look at Matt Devlin without seeing Apollo, which is a great relief.



"Paradise" caps have been added to freema.mirrordance.net.  I can't believe next week is the last episode until September!  And it's titled "Alesha", which is ... ominous.  Freema's been seen filming right up to the end, but ... *frets*

He did! He so did! He's probably existing in an awkward state of repressed man pain, as he tries to decide whether or not it's appropriate just how inappropriate it would be to ask her out. If he dithers for much longer, Alesha will probably jump him on his own leather couch.

I think there are times when he looks at her like she's a shining star.

I can't believe they're splitting the season! I started really getting into it and then I hear ep seven is the last until September or so. Argh.

Martha wasn't well written. Freema did what she could, but Martha's a bit wet compared to Alesha.
