Oh, Law & Order: UK.

I ship James/Alesha so hard it's a bit stupid.
Like, it's in the background, but you get a glimpse of the look she gives him when he says he's a member of the Royal & Colonial Club, and you just know she's going to tease him about that forever.
Also, dialogue of win:
Dude: "Excuse me, sir, but the club is only open to members."
James: "I am a member."
Dude: "Then sir will be aware of our policies regarding-" *eyedarts at Alesha*
Alesha: "Blacks?"
Dude: "Girls."
Alesha: "I think you mean women."
Oh yeah, and there was a plot, too. Which was nice. I blame Law & Order: UK for my current desire to read crime novels and true crime. And I'm finally able to look at Matt Devlin without seeing Apollo, which is a great relief.
"Paradise" caps have been added to freema.mirrordance.net. I can't believe next week is the last episode until September! And it's titled "Alesha", which is ... ominous. Freema's been seen filming right up to the end, but ... *frets*

Is it just me, or did he look pleased when she said, "What boyfriend?"

It came from inside too! Like, all his facial lines did a happy inward dance. LOL. Though, it doesn't say much that he didn't notice.
I think there are times when he looks at her like she's a shining star.
Alesha...Alesha is love. Is it wrong that I rewind to the bit of ep 4 where she talks about the first time she had wine when Thatcher left?

Date: 2009-04-03 03:36 am (UTC)Martha wasn't well written. Freema did what she could, but Martha's a bit wet compared to Alesha.

Date: 2009-04-02 12:23 pm (UTC)That was the best moment in... possibly the whole series so far. Alesha is brilliant.

Date: 2009-04-03 12:37 am (UTC)Who wants to bet we're probably going to see Slade again before episode thirteen...?Okay, I can't even believe I'm suggesting this (because I'm neglecting enough comms already) but has anyone put any thought into a LO:UK newsletter?
