But I'm also disappointed, because what I really want out of life is a Saturday morning cartoon about Lin Beifong's cops fighting a hopeless battle against the triads, who have their own problems and reasons, while also providing a metaphor for the decay of society. With subplots about Tenzin's faltering idealism as he tries to undo the legacy of Tarrlok's corruption, and a fifth season about a hardworkingGary Stu reporter who is ultimately screwed over by the system.
If someone wants to write that fic, I'd totally read it.
