Frankly, if Nick is going to do this to themselves, why, I am practically obligated to complete the circle and watch it!



I knew there was some meta-trolling when Jinora (KIERNAN SHIPKA, I LOVE YOU) asked about Ursa. By the time we got to "YOU'RE OPPRESSING YOURSELF!" I was pretty much dead from laughing.

So far I love Korra like DELICIOUS PIE, but I think Lin and Tenzin are my favourites. They're so spiky together! Lin enunciates like Azula. I'm just sayin'. Also she has blue eyes, which implies that she is indeed a Sokka baster baby -- SHUT UP, THIS IS THE MOST LOGICAL AND RATIONALE EXPLANATION -- which would mean she had Tenzin are cousins, which is HILARIOUS.

And then Tenzin gets all rageful when Korra brings up his mother, because wow, all the emphasis may be on Aang's legacy, BUT KATARA, GUYS. I have this theory that she only returned to the Southern Water Tribe after Korra was identified -- otherwise the White Lotus would have been in no doubt of Korra's identity -- and before that, she was living at Republic City, working there and trolling Tenzin.

How did Toph and Aang manage to produce children with no senses of humour? Are Zuko's descendents going to be the funniest people in the series? STAY TUNED.

She's so determined to do the right thing, and completely heedless of the consequences! I guess part of her growth is going to be learning that the Equalists have a point, and finding a way to restore balance without causing further oppression and injustice.

I love your Azula/Toph shipping, it is the BEST. Until told otherwise, Lin is absolutely their child together, you have the best headcanon. (I did think Lin's eyes were green, but then my copy was very low-quality, so they may well have been blue.)

I'm sure the siblings Tenzin mentions have plenty humor! But yeah, it's still a bit remarkable. And oh I HOPE Zuko's descendents are hilarious.

(Also, um, this is probably a silly thing to fixate on but HOW ARE THERE MORE SKY BISON, Tenzin called the sky bison his family was riding some name that was definitely not Appa! DO SKY BISON REPRODUCE BY BUDDING?)

I was pretty sure the leaked screencaps showed blue eyes, but maybe that's just my monitor? "Who is Lin's father?" is going to be the new "Where is Princess Ursa?"

I think the producers said at Comic-Con that Aang found a couple of herds of wild bison and winged lemurs after the war. Tenzin's bison has slightly different markings to Appa.

True canon! I bet they were all like a big messy extended family no matter who was actually related to whom. They all spent at least three weeks every summer in the big beach house on Ember Island. Sokka and Zuko had a yearly MANLIEST BARBECUE contest that absorbed absolutely all of their attention whenever they weren't herding kids. Mai and Suki lolled around on the beach sipping fruity drinks and had awesome totally-friendly-seriously sparring matches as soon as it got cooler in the evenings. Toph and Katara had a great racket going, with Toph pretending to be a helpless blind girl while selling Katara's awesome wave-making skills to surfer dudes, and Katara half drowning every surfer dude who thought they'd be clever and cheat that little girl by underpaying. Azula constantly tried to scheme everyone into doing her bidding, but they'd mostly wised up, and somehow she always got stuck with babysitting duty. She taught Tenzin and Lin everything they know.

Maybe Tenzin's siblings got all the funny genes. For now, Lin is my favorite for being all, no vigilante nonsense in my city, young lady! Which Korra richly deserved after doing that runner from the police - she's not above the law because of who she is, and that's awesome.
