Well, my last fandom-related post was about Avatar, which is full of characters whose superpower is setting things on fire. Or freezing them in ice, or crushing them with rocks, or ... well, I'm sure airbending would come in handy somehow.

So I'd say my chances are pretty good.

A toughie! But I went with Zuko's dual swords, because their introduction also marked a pronounced increase in his overall competence and confidence, and they look pretty cool.

LI AND LO! TWO FOR ONE! That's what Azulon said.

I like them because they're quite creepy as they advise Azula and recount to the assembled masses the imperialist triumphs of the royal family. But they're also the only people who actually try to nurture Azula, and maybe even care about her in her own right, instead of as a weapon or a rival.

Meanwhile, I'm back watching Star Trek: Deep Space 9, and I kind of want to see Gul Dukat and Admiral Zhao hanging out. Because they are so absolutely smug and self-confident, and are both basically trolls. It would be AMAZING.

*checks* Yes, and TV Tropes lists them both under Smug Snake. BEST FRIENDS.

I keep thinking about doing this Avatar meme, and then realizing that my answers would be basically the same as yours.

I noticed only now that Li and Lo's triple sharp shoulder guard things look very much like something that would be worn by a member of the royal family. A pretty high-ranking member, too -Ozai had only two layers when he was still second prince after Iroh in the Zuko Alone flashback. I wonder who they are? Sisters to Azulon?

That would give Azula two (great-)aunts to guide and teach her, like Zuko has an uncle. Neat!

That's a good point. I had assumed they were Azulon's concubines, but I don't know if that would earn them the triple shoulder guards.
