A bunch of things

lizbee- I figured this would be of interest to a bunch of people on my flist: An interview with David Proud, the first disabled actor on EastEnders.
- The remastered Beatles sets were finally released yesterday, only a day late and in quantities too small to match demand. So we were playing the Beatles all day. Good times, unless you were the slightly-less-than-middle-aged customer who said this:
"This music is terrible. Why do you only play modern crap here?"
Er, yeah. Four young guys from Liverpool. Floppy emo hair aside, we think they're gonna be big. I didn't actually say that, though.
- I had one of the best kinds of customers today -- she came in looking for books she could read with her young son, informed me that there is a Mortal Engines PREQUEL due out in November, and let me pile her up with Michael Scott, Susan Cooper and Lloyd Alexander.
- I also had one of the worst kinds of customers -- IN WHAT UNIVERSE IS IT APPROPRIATE TO CHANGE YOUR BABY'S NAPPY ON THE FLOOR OF A BOOKSTORE? WE HAVE A PERFECTLY GOOD CHANGING TABLE IN THE TOILETS! FOR GOD'S SAKE!
- AND NOW TO LEAVE THE HOUSE! Project Runway Australia finale, here we come! Er, I hope.
