The 7 Day Meme: day 3
Sep. 23rd, 2009 07:44 amday 01 | a song
day 02 | a picture
day 03 | a book/ebook/fanfic
day 04 | a site
day 05 | a youtube clip
day 06 | a quote
day 07 | whatever tickles your fancy
Today, I offer one of those minor miracles that make life worth living: public domain ebooks. Specifically, The Youngest Girl In The Fifth by Angela Brazil. This is a classic English school story (although not a boarding school story) published in 1913. It's highly readable, with a heroine who is moved up a year and gets into scrapes accordingly.
File is in the Mobipocket format; I highly recommend Calibre, an open-source, multi-format ebook program.
