lizbeeThe fannish shorthand for Sheridan/Delenn is J/D. This throws me for two reasons.
One is that I don't feel I'm on a first name basis with Sheridan. But more importantly -- and weirdly -- I see the initials "J/D" and immediately think of "John/Dean". Like, intergenerational Wincest John/Dean. AND I'VE NEVER EVEN WATCHED SUPERNATURAL! AND DON'T INTEND TO START!
At least B5 fandom predates smushed shipnames, and I'm sure as hell not going to be the n00b that introduces them.
