Something about a man in pantyhose, y'know? Although Spock's legs are a bit skinny.
Anyway, this was a bit ... well, it's nice to have Klingons at last, even though they all look like Louise Jameson in that blackface photo test we all try to pretend didn't happen. And the relationship, if you can call it that, between Kirk and Kor was pretty awesome.
Just, y'know, the plot was all, "HELLO, PRIMITIVES, WE HAVE COME TO BLESS YOU WITH OUR BENEVOLENT PROTECTION AND CULTURAL IMPERIALISM! WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!" And then Kor is like, "WE ARE NOT SO DIFFERENT, Y'ALL ARE IMPERIALISTS TOO!" Maybe that was meant to be deliberately subversive? It was a bit like watching the CIA selling weapons to the Taliban to use against the Soviets. Meanwhile, the Organians were like, "Whatevs, puny corporeals, we'll play along with your politics and your strange constructions of masculinity."
Good times.
