lizbeeindeed and I came over to the old flat to clean, and since there is still internet here, we are taking a moment to catch up. PLEASE PROVIDE LINKS TO ALL YOUR META AND STUFF SO I CAN SAVE IT TO READ LATER AT HOME.Also, it is my birthday.
I feel like I have a million stories to share here, but mostly they boil down to, "And then the cat did something cute."
I'm reading a biography of DeForest Kelley. He lived across the road from Rick Berman in his later years. Imagine how busy Fandom_Wank would have been if internet fandom had existed in its current form when Gene Roddenberry was alive.

Date: 2010-06-13 12:22 am (UTC)I met DeForest Kelley once; I was still working Shore Leave when he was a guest, I believe one of the last cons he did. That man was a true gentleman to his fingertips - when younger members of the audience asked him questions you know he's been asked since the mid 60s, he sincerely sounded like no one had ever asked him that before. That took class - and a lot of patience!
And now the cat may do something cute. Again.
