Am I to take it that both Gmail and Twitter are down? And I am TRAPPED AT WORK due to an armed gunman running around the city. And my oesophagus hurts.

My Gmail's been behaving, but Twitter has been intermittently out (they *finally* have a status page: http://status.twitter.com). It'll work for a while and then give me the fail-whale.
