It's interesting, I don't actually read very much Avatar fic that doesn't come off your rec list (I trust your judgement, and you've not let me down yet!), so Weak!And!Sickly!Child!Zuko is not something I'd realised was a fanon trope. Huh. The more you learn. I always interpreted that "Everyone says I was lucky to be born" as implying that everything Zuko has he's worked for constantly, in comparison to Azula for whom everything seems to be a breeze.

I bet he has an amazing collection of salves and lotions and crap to try and stop the scar from being so tight and itchy. :D
