The difference, of course, being that Aang is SET UP as a quasi-religious saviour figure from the beginning of the series, and also isn't powered by people chanting his name like some sort of bizarre sporting rally.

Aang's arrow, on the other hand, genuinely does improve Tinkerbell Jesus Doctor enormously.
