I'm really not down with this whole ear infection nonsense. If you were wondering. I'M CRANKY AND I HAVE A HEADACHE AND MY EARS HURT AND MY NUROFEN IS INADEQUATE AND I CAN'T CONCENTRATE ON ANYTHING MORE COMPLEX THAN A CARTOON AIMED AT EIGHT YEAR OLDS.



I was going to ramble some more about my feelings about Jet here, but I ended up covering them all in the comments. Instead, have someone new:



Yes. It's true. I really don't like Foaming Mouth Guy.

See, when I first saw him, it was before I actually watched the series. It might have been in the comments on FW, or somewhere like that (I don't think FW is a very gif-happy place?): a gif of Foamy doing his thing, and a long thread of comments going OMG I LOVE HIM! HE'S HILARIOUS!

And I was kind of like ... this show generates gifs of people having fits, and the fandom thinks it's great? SO MUCH SIDE-EYE, GUYS, SO MUCH SIDE-EYE.

And that first impression has stayed. I know that he's meant as a parody of rabid fandom and all, but honestly, it just makes me uncomfortable.

I had already seen his first episode when I heard he was popular with fandom, and I thought, "Wait, who?" He didn't register enough with me to be a least favorite character, but I really don't get why he would inspire a long squeeing thread.

Yeah, normally I like their little ancillary call-backs, but Foaming Mouth Guy wasn't that funny the first time and even worse the second.
