Book club spoilers!

Sorry, fellow members of FYeahBookClub, but I can't keep my feelings for Beatle Meets Destiny in. 

I'm 78% of the way through the book (thanks, Kobo!) and here's what I've picked up so far:

- abortions cause endometriosis
- marijuana causes strokes
- girls are literally asking to be stalked
- overweight women are unattractive and shameful
- (and getting fat is something women do to get revenge on their cheating husbands)
- two-timing boys are funny and charming
- manic pixie dreamgirls who believe mental illness is a choice are funny and charming
- teachers and students hooking up is in no way problematic except for the inconvenience it causes to their families

yes, but i could also spend those couple of hours on my thesis/enjoying my life and still come to bookclub for delicious dips and so forth? WE HAVE A WINNER!

I've picked it up a couple of times in shops and never had the feeling that I wanted to read it. Rather glad I haven't now.

I did want to read it, on the principle that it's local, but ... well. I'm just sorry I bought the ebook instead of getting it from the library.

How about a pulping party? Fire=pretty, I will admit, but turning evil!books back into the paper from whence they came is even better karma.
