Mai and Zuko's delightfully teenage romance was absolutely wonderful - especially the way they took themselves so, so seriously - and one that I can see maturing very well. The other thing that fascinated me about Mai was her knives: she uses only small weapons that she can easily hide about her person, and yet uses them with calm determination and skill. Where did she learn that? Weapon training is obviously pretty common for everyone in the Fire Kingdom, but why did she then specialise in something she can hide easily?
