Oh hai! Does this ring a bell: an AU where Azula never discovers Zuko and Iroh are in Ba Sing Se, and years later Zuko is raising his secret-Firebender daughter (whose mother is Jin) when he's reunited with Mai?

I had the idea, or so I thought, but now I've become paranoid that I'm actually remembering someone else's fic.

Well, first I was looking for fic to read, but then the summaries were so dire that I started reading the reviews, just to see how people were responding to the fic (or if they were at least correcting the spelling in the titles or summaries). And then that turned into a kind of spiral.

I should share the best. But with cut tags, for the relentlessly sober.
