Nearest book was a phone book. "Listings included for: [several towns in my county] and surrounding communities" is pretty close to a sentence. Disturbing somehow.

OK, OK, picked up some religious book on heaven that my uncle's wife seems to have given Grandma (bet she's never read it). Top of p. 45: "Is it enough?"

Oh, crrr... Nearest book was my Chinese speaking exercises book. The top of p. 45 read,

会一点儿, 不过踢得不怎么样.

I can play a little, but I not that well.

Bonus points because 'play' in this case is actually 'kick.' The line was in response to "Can you play soccer?"
