I don't even know...I mean, I suppose it is indeed better than cannon, as somebody who's recently been reading about the Siege of Paris, but...why does this even exist?
ETA: The review, not the fic. I actually remembered after a few seconds when and why you wrote the fic, and the other review seems to be what you were going for, if...somewhat indirectly, through the weird independent realization that, indeed, brainwashing was afoot.
Also, sorry; I can't edit comments on DW, and my reading comprehension is compromised by lack of sleep..
