So what I wanted to make was a vid about how Lin's bending has more in common with airbending than her mother or sister's styles.

What I wound up with was ... not that vid, but I'm happy with it anyway. It wound up being more about rebuilding bridges and overcoming trauma, so that's nice, too.

I have a whole playlist of Lin/Tenzin songs, and it's 99% Dessa. So sue me. (Please don't sue me, Dessa, I love you.)

This is such a fantastic Lin character study! I love how you use the fades, and the flashbacks, and the echos of metalbending style through the generations. (Also, may I just say, with heartfelt emotion: man, those spinny airbender things are such a vidder's godsend.)
