Hey, I wondered if Asami would be at the girls' school! What a party, though. :-/

LOOSELY BASED ON A REAL ONE, the seventh birthday party of one of my sister's school friends. (I was the underdressed older sister mooching around awkwardly, because my parents had made plans that didn't involve spending an afternoon at a kid's party, and weren't able to change them because mobile phones were not a thing.)

My original plan was to have Hiroshi make some kind of overt recruitment overtures for the early Equalists? But then I sat down to actually write that bit, and I was like, "OR he's probably not going to invite a young woman he's just met to join his secret subversive bigotry party."

Your take on young Asami is lovely and it's nice to meet Jade properly. :-)

Thanks! Asami is always a joy to write, which makes it kind of sad that I don't have stronger feelings for Korrasami than "It's nice!"
