I'm tentatively excited for Nu Who companions, though I still don't enjoy that one is a middle aged white guy because of the tendency of middle aged white male writers to overly identify. But the younger ones, yes!

Yeah, I hope he's the Duggan type. But I did just read a nice column from a guy lamenting that his son has so few depictions of men, especially older men, being subordinate to women, and his gratitude that now we have a new one. And that warmed my black heart.
