Written in 2017, but never posted because I had this idea in my head that it was unspeakably bad. (It's not. It's fine. And so is the unfinished "unreadable" draft linked in the endnotes. For some reason I wrote this fic three or four times? Bad sign, I think, as I consider rewriting my current WiP a few more times.)
