As requested by [livejournal.com profile] kerravonsen and [livejournal.com profile] biichan, the commentary for "Huntsman"

You know, I don't think we give enough appreciation to our B and C keys.  Since I cleaned my keyboard, I've had to absolutely pound them to get them to work.  It's slightly distressing.

Oooh, lovely! Oh, and it was [livejournal.com profile] bana05 who was the one that made the case about Martha being a virgin. I just agreed that it was actually fairly plausible and then I had technical!virgin!Martha in that Martha/Victoria Blinkfic I wrote that I wish someone would ask me to do commentary on because I actually really want to talk about it. Do you think it would be gauche to do a commentary for it anyway?

I remembered you'd mentioned it in fic, but I didn't realise the idea didn't originate with you. You should totally do a commentary for that. If you totally need someone to ask, consider this a request.

Well, I don't remember if she ever blogged about it or did an essay, but I remember she argued it in the LoM chats back when I used to do them and I did a lot of nodding along because Martha's always struck me as fairly inexperienced that way, especially considering the awkwardness of her Doctor crush. (But I bet she secretly read a lot of books on the subject as an adolescent. Sex, not crushing on the Doctor, of course.) Anyway, I don't want to be Amanda Marcotte, so I figured I should say something. Thank you and I so totally will.

You know, the Martha and (dream) past companions/Doctors stuff is kind of interesting when compared to the current Doctor Who comic (http://community.livejournal.com/scans_daily/6098351.html) (Though most of the Martha stuff isn't scanned yet.

Yeah, I just bought The Forgotten #1, and I sort of facepalmed at the discussion of Susan. At least I did it first?

Are you going to accuse Tony Lee of plagiarism? ;)

Yes. Just watch me. *eyedart*

(I lolled a lot when the dude doing the "10 Doctors" comic had a freak out when heard about "The Forgotten". Oh, fans, you take things so seriously.)

Is there a link to his freak-out? I stopped reading it ages ago (though I hear Martha makes an appearance, which interests me, if only because of how he managed that given the time line).

It's somewhere in his archives, but I can't remember when precisely it happened.

Martha turns up ... okay, Romana is shot by a Cyberman, and Jack and Sarah take her to a hospital, where she's treated by Grace Holloway, who has moved to the UK since the TVM. Martha's training under Grace. It's just a brief cameo, but a nice one.

My keys come off -- the problem seems to be that the C key won't go back on properly.
