The person who wrote this remarkable remix of "Death's Avatar". "It occurred to him not for the first time that his life hadn’t been a gift so much as a loan." This is just brilliant, great writing mixed with images and ideas that never came to me. The repeated phrases -- "Wake, Severus" -- and the images and everything else are simply marvellous, and I can't praise it enough.

To respond to your comment here and on the site...I am so relieved and happy that you like it! It's actually one of the first HP fics that I loved, so I was shocked and excited to draw your name. Then I was paralyzed by angst of the "crap, I have to write something worthy of the original fic!" variety, so I am really glad that it passed muster.

The asphodel thing I didn't take consciously from you but from the asphodel = part of the lily family thing--which I imagine is where you got it from, too.

And yes, you do know me. *grins mysteriously*
