We have this new book at work, How To Feed Your Family For $75 A Week.  It's a reprint of a title from about 1993, How To Feed Your Family For $30 A Week -- something about Labor governments seems to inspire that sort of thing, I guess.  It's full of useful tips like reducing the fat content of your milk by adding water, and using the same tea bag three times. 

The best bit, though, is the opening chapter, which claims that "so-called 'progressive' social legislation is driving up food prices".  Yes, guys, gay marriage is the reason your groceries cost so much.  And multiculturalism, too.  Good stuff.

Of course! The more gays and non-descendants-of-the-original-criminals come to Australia, the more fuel the airplanes coming from South Asia, Africa, and San Francisco have to use! The more fuel the airlines use, the less there is for the truckers who bring the food in from ports like Darwin and Townsville, so food costs more in the Outback. And when food costs more in the Outback, people start killing dingoes out of desperation. And when people take on dingoes, the dingoes flee into the cities, causing widespread chaos and COMPLETE SOCIETAL COLLAPSE THAT WILL COME TO ITS HEAD WHEN KEVIN RUDD TURNS INTO A SUPERMASSIVE DEMON LORD AND INITIATES THE DESTRUCTION OF THE WORLD!!!
