SO VERY SICK.  I AM SUCH A STEREOTYPICAL MAN WHEN I HAVE A COLD.  I HAVE LOST MY VOICE.  AND I'M HUNGRY BUT I FEEL SICK.  THIS COLD IS MADE OF FAIL.

In less OMG SICK news, British-type people who paid attention when I pimped out rj_anderson's novel Knife may be interested to know it's now available on shelves in various parts of the UK.  The official release date isn't for a few days yet, but rj_anderson isn't quite at the JK Rowling level of HOMG YOU BREAK MAH EMBARGO I KEEEL YOU power.

If you're not wholly convinced, it may help to know that the book has also garnered glowing reviews from people who don't know RJA from a bar of soap.

In fact Knife is on the 3 for 2 promotional table at Waterstones for any other Brits interested in picking up a copy, which should see it do pretty well (and the cover is really good as well).

I put my work leaving present to good use yesterday when I picked up a copy of Knife, The Knife of Never Letting Go and Eclipse (yeah, I only bought that last one because it was on offer and not because I crave sparkly, possessive, creepy emo vampires).

And my sympathies. I also have a cold that is made of fail. It features whole-body aches (like, into my jaw), general crankiness, and a head that feels like one of the caves at Qumran.
