Growing up Picard

So there I was, messing about on the MemoryAlpha Star Trek wiki (best not to ask how I got there by Wikistorming Bablyon 5) and I came across the Picard family album. Which is a family history-type thing that Picard keeps updated these days.

"Keeps updated"?

Let's be honest here.

In the finest tradition of surbubanites and sparklepires, this is Picard's secret scrapbooking project. Complete with, um, heart-shaped borders for Beverly.

There is no part of this that is not hilarious. I think even my Picard/Crusher-shipping ten-year-old self just died a little inside.

My God, they've turned him into Edward Cullen (was the real reason Picard didn't talk to his brother for years not, in fact, his joining Star Fleet, but the brother laughing at the scrapbook?)
