Amy! People say their relationship is maternal, but I think that's just because of River's age. They just seem to have so much mutual respect and admiration, and also they're fun together.
* My unpopular opinion about this character
It's not perfect, but overall I like her ending in "Forest of the Dead". It feels right that a character who recognises and appreciates the stories of her own life should become a storyteller.
* One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.
I know I joked about this in email, but if the 50th anniversary special consists solely of River being photoshopped into scenes from Classic Who, I'd really be okay with that.
