SJA: "Invasion of the Bane" pt 2

lizbeeHow much do I love you, show? LOTS. Even when Lis has set voice tremble to maximum. LOVE. I shaded this while I watched the episode:
Who knows, one day maybe I'll erase the pencile lines and add some colour. One day, I might even learn to draw everyone standing on reasonably level ground, instead of going off on a slope.
THE POINT IS, LOVE. Although I kind of cringe every time Sarah Jane uttered a vague paen to motherhood, and then there was a moment where Tommy Knight was out-acting Lis Sladen, and I was secretly a bit embarrassed. Also, the Brig was kind of underused, not that he's not lovely even when he's just standing around, but still, he spent a lot of time just standing around. I loved the look on his face when Clyde volunteered to be Super Secret International Spy!Clyde. (Since Clyde's next trick is to get himself caught by a squid-lion, I'd say he's perfect UNIT material.)
YES, MAJOR KILLBURN WAS A BANE. We all saw that coming, right? Just like I spotted that the Brigadier's stick was a weapon. I LOVE YOU, BRIGADIER SIR ALASTAIR GORDON LETHBRIDGE STEWART!
I love Mrs Wormwood, btw. Mostly because I kind of really want to cosplay as her, with that natty little cowled dress and giant bling ring. Kaargh was pretty awesome, too, but ... I dunno, something about Wormwood. And her dreadful preoccupation with Sarah Jane's personal life. I love her so. And her dress.
I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed when Sarah Jane produced Sonic Lipstick #2. I bet the Doctor sends her a new one every Christmas. "Ho hum, another sonic lipstick. I wish he'd send parts for the dog once in a while. I could really use a laser spanner."

violetisblue and I have been collaborating for aaaaaaaaages on a fic involving alien whatsits at standing stones, and I really wish the SJA peeps would stop stealing our ideas. Unless violetisblue is actually Gareth Roberts, which come to think of it ... no, surely not.)
